Common questions about EventApp vs Gridaly

Is EventApp a full alternative to Gridaly?
Yes, if you need an attendee app (agenda, registration and QR check-in, polls, surveys, quizzes). There are two main differences. First, the scope: EventApp is a ready attendee app with 19 modules at a fixed price, and you add extensions only when you need them. Gridaly is an all-in-one platform with streaming, AI matchmaking and ticketing. Second, EventApp does not offer live streaming or AI matchmaking. If either of these is critical for you, pick Gridaly.
Does EventApp have a native app in the App Store and Google Play?
No. It is a deliberate choice: EventApp is a PWA that attendees open from a link or QR code, with no download and no store approval. We build native apps as a separate service, outside the EventApp PWA package. Contact us if that is what you need.
Can I switch from Gridaly to EventApp?
Yes. Configuring branding, the agenda and the other standard modules takes up to 24 hours. Registration with check-in is built in, and if you use other parts of the Gridaly platform, we plan the migration and quote the matching EventApp extensions before you start.
Does EventApp handle large events with hundreds or thousands of attendees?
Yes. As a PWA, EventApp runs in every attendee's browser regardless of event scale. There is no installation and no account limit. For very large events with heavy concurrent traffic (live voting, quizzes), we discuss the technical plan before launch.
Does EventApp include attendee registration with check-in and ticketing like Gridaly?
Yes. Attendee registration with check-in and QR code scanning is part of the standard EventApp package. Ticketing (ticket sales with payment processing) is not included, but we can build it as a custom extension.
How does EventApp pricing compare to Gridaly?
EventApp has a transparent base price of 3,000 PLN net per event. Extensions (additional gamification, integrations) are quoted separately, so you know where you start. Gridaly quotes each event individually and says the price depends on, among other things, the number of attendees. With EventApp, the number of guests does not change the price.
What does EventApp technical support look like?
We help you set up the app, and on the day of your event you have direct contact with our technical team.
How much can I customize the EventApp look to my branding?
You customize the look in the admin panel, without writing any code. You add your logo, choose colors matching your event branding, edit page layouts, content and visible modules. If the standard options are not enough, we will adapt the app to your event.
