Is EventApp a full alternative to Gridaly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for most conferences, corporate events and training. There are two differences. First, the model: EventApp is a PWA base package to which we add extensions tailored to your event. Gridaly is a ready-made all-in-one platform. Second, EventApp does not offer live streaming or AI matchmaking. If either of these features is critical for you, pick Gridaly. Otherwise, EventApp covers the same needs in a different product model.

Does EventApp include attendee registration with check-in and ticketing like Gridaly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Attendee registration with check-in and QR code scanning is part of the standard EventApp package. Ticketing (ticket sales with payment processing) is not included, but we can build it as a custom extension.

Question 3

Does EventApp have a native app in the App Store and Google Play?

Accepted Answer

No. It is a deliberate choice: EventApp is a PWA app that attendees open from a link or QR code, with no download and no store approval. We build native apps as a separate service, outside the EventApp PWA package. Contact us if that is what you need.

How does EventApp pricing compare to Gridaly?

Accepted Answer

EventApp has a transparent base price from 3,000 PLN net per event. Extensions (gamification, custom modules, integrations) are quoted separately, so you know what the starting line costs. Gridaly does not publish pricing and quotes the full scope on request.

Can I switch from Gridaly to EventApp?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Configuring branding, the agenda and the other standard modules typically takes a few days. Registration with check-in is built in, and if you use other parts of the Gridaly platform, we plan the migration and quote the matching EventApp extensions before you start.

What does EventApp support look like on the day of your event?

Accepted Answer

On the day of your event, you have direct contact with our technical team. As part of the implementation, we agree on communication channels and response times tailored to the scale of your event. Support covers the full duration of the event, from the first attendee registration to the end of the last session.

Does EventApp handle large events with hundreds or thousands of attendees?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As a PWA app, EventApp runs in every attendee's browser regardless of event scale. There is no installation and no account limit, and the infrastructure scales with the number of attendees. For very large events with heavy concurrent traffic (live voting, Q&A sessions), we discuss the technical plan before launch.

How much can I customize the EventApp look to my branding?

Accepted Answer

You customize the look in the admin panel, without writing any code. You add your logo, choose colors matching your event branding, edit page layouts, content and visible modules. If the standard options are not enough, we will adapt the app to your event.
